Workshop completed 2026

Thanks to the “Local Initiative Programme”, the club now has a good, pleasant place for running various repair and machine-building workshops. The workshop can be used by children and young people to repair their machines, and also by local community members who want to tinker with their machines in a good environment. The space is supportive, and the young people are glad that such an opportunity has been created. Several youth groups have already used the space for technical hobbies, which in turn confirms that the project was needed and successful. Once again, thank you to all the volunteers, companies and people who helped with advice and hands-on work.

The 3rd street art camp

This year we held the 3rd street art camp – the weather was what it was, but it was great anyway – This time we focused on creating interactive pictures. It turned out quite well 🙂

Jõgeva meetup 2025

On 25–26 July we helped two young people with their own initiative and visited, with 8 young people, Estonia’s biggest motorcycle and biker gathering, Jõgeva Treff. We saw over 2,000 different vehicles and enjoyed great metal music from various performers. Two days of buzz and all kinds of great extra activities by Lake Peipus and further afield gave the young people an invaluable experience for the future. We thank all our supporters (Ösel MC, SNTK, Epp Veiman) and of course the participants. See you at the next adventure

Machinery camp 2025

Another machinery camp took place on 15–18 July. This time we were in Siiksaar. In the summer heat the young people gained experience with machines and other important fields. There were repairs and other fun side activities. It’s always great, and next year we will definitely do it again.

Trip to Ida-Viru County

It’s great when we can empower young people’s own initiatives. On 10–12 June we helped the young people, with advice and effort, to visit Ida-Viru County. We learned about oil shale and its mining, and saw with our own eyes the huge footprint that extracting this brown rock has left. Of course there was also some active fun and sightseeing. Everyone also got to experience the local cultural life and meet local young people. The young people wrote the project themselves for the Eduvik programme and secured funding to make this eventful experience happen. It was a great and pure joy to be able to help. Thank you to all participants and supporters.

EDUVIK project

On 7–8 June the youth project organised under the EDUVIK programme came to an end, where 16 young people came together to gain knowledge and skills about engines, motorcycles and motorcycle culture in general. We thank Rasmus and Sebastian, who wrote this idea up as a project and came to us with it. Thank you to all participants and supporters.

Rock ja Ratas took place

On Sunday the motorcycle event for Saaremaa youth, Rock ja Ratas, took place
The event was great in every way, and young people and slightly older ones had a lovely time together. There was a lot to see, do and hear. Young people from Ukraine were also involved, and they got to share the charm of this culture too. We thank Ösel MC, Rebel moto, Sandla motopoisse, Saare Moto, Mullutu Motosport, the Kuressaare Hospital youth clinic and the Red Cross for the cooperation
A big bow also to Helena, who fed everyone with her youth café. Thank you to all the young people and adults who took part. We also thank Ramirent, Kuressaare Kultuurivara, the Integration Foundation, MTÜ Võimalus, the Saaremaa Youth Work Centre and the volunteers who contributed to the success of this event.

Visit from the Valjala kindergarten

A Valjala kindergarten group visited Kiired Putukad – it was lovely to introduce the world of machines to the little ones, and they in turn got to try and find machines they liked. It is always a joy when the spark for machines is already in their eyes at an early age. Until the next great meetings

The season has begun

The season started quietly and oddly. The weather is still freezing, but we started with riding days at the beginning of April. As usual, we ask everyone interested to write and say they wish to take part. You can find more information at: https://www.facebook.com/kiiredputukad
